What Happens After a Sale or Purchase?

Here’s a simple overview of the steps that follow once a deal is made on ITAD Auctions:

📩 1. Confirmation Email


Both buyer and seller receive a confirmation email
Includes: Listing ID, item name, unit count, final price, and a direct link
The listing page shows contact details and next steps

💳 2. Payment by Buyer


Buyer must complete payment within the seller’s stated timeframe (recommended: 3 days)
Payment method is defined by the seller (e.g. prepayment by bank transfer)
Important: Late payment may result in cancellation or account action
Invoice: Seller issues the invoice directly to the buyer

📦 3. Seller Confirms Payment & Prepares Shipment


Seller notifies buyer once payment is received
Prepares goods for shipping or pickup
Contacts buyer for shipping info if needed
Tip: Use tracked and insured shipping if possible

🚚 4. Shipping & Delivery


Seller shares tracking or courier info
Buyer monitors delivery progress
Both parties stay in contact in case of delays
