📝 Step 1: Choose Listing Type

Go to your Dashboard and click “+ Create Listing”. Pick one of these listing types:

🔨 Auction – Set a starting price, and buyers place bids.
🏷️ Fixed Price Offer – Set a selling price. Buyers can buy immediately or submit proposals.
✅ You can enable price proposals: buyers may offer at least 70% of your price (you can accept or reject).

📄 Step 2: Fill in Listing Details

Required info includes:

Listing Title – Short and clear (e.g. HP EliteBook 840 G8 | i5-1135G7 | A/B Grade)
Category – Choose from dropdown
Total Units – Total quantity available
Location – Where the items are physically stored
Currency – EUR or USD Depending on listing type:

Auction:

Starting Bid (€1 or more)
Target Price – Your minimum acceptable price
Bid Step – Minimum increment between bids

Fixed Price:

Total Selling Price – Your exact sale price Additional fields:
End Time – When the listing ends
Description – Add product condition, specs, or anything useful
Reference Number / Keyword – Optional; visible only to you

From the menu, select “My Profile”

🔔 2. Open the Notifications Tab

Inside your profile, click the “Notifications” tab
This is where you manage alerts and email preferences

Choose which alerts you'd like to receive:

Outbid alert – Get notified if someone places a higher bid
Favorite auctions closing soon – Reminder before closing
Auction ended – Summary of auctions you participated in ✔️ Make sure the checkboxes are selected for the ones you want

📬 4. Manage Subscriptions by Category or Keyword

Scroll down to the “Subscriptions” section
Click the ✏️ pencil icon to update:
- Categories – Choose specific product types
- Keywords – Add topics you want to follow (e.g. “MacBook” or “Lenovo”)

Here’s a simple overview of the steps that follow once a deal is made on ITAD Auctions:

📩 1. Confirmation Email

Both buyer and seller receive a confirmation email
Includes: Listing ID, item name, unit count, final price, and a direct link
The listing page shows contact details and next steps

💳 2. Payment by Buyer

Buyer must complete payment within the seller’s stated timeframe (recommended: 3 days)
Payment method is defined by the seller (e.g. prepayment by bank transfer)
Important: Late payment may result in cancellation or account action
Invoice: Seller issues the invoice directly to the buyer

📦 3. Seller Confirms Payment & Prepares Shipment

Seller notifies buyer once payment is received
Prepares goods for shipping or pickup
Contacts buyer for shipping info if needed
Tip: Use tracked and insured shipping if possible

🚚 4. Shipping & Delivery

Seller shares tracking or courier info
Buyer monitors delivery progress
Both parties stay in contact in case of delays

🧾 1. Placing a Bid

Bidding is simple:

Open the auction listing you’re interested in
Enter your bid – it must be higher than the current bid
Click Place Bid to submit 💡 Tip: Bid realistically based on the product’s value for a better chance of winning.

🤖 2. Auto-Bidding

Let the system bid for you — and save time. What is Auto-Bidding? Auto-Bidding automatically raises your bid to stay ahead, up to your personal max. How to set it up:

Click Set Auto-Bid on the listing
Enter your maximum bid (the highest you're willing to pay)
The system will outbid others by the minimum increment until your max is reached 🔒 Your maximum is kept confidential — only you can see it.

📌 3. Key Rules to Remember

🥇 Winning: You win only if your bid meets or exceeds the seller’s target price
- If not met, the seller has 48h to accept or reject
🚫 No takebacks: Bids can’t be withdrawn once placed
👥 Multiple bidders: Others can also bid or set Auto-Bids — stay alert!
