Here’s everything you need to know about bidding on ITAD Auctions.

🧾 1. Placing a Bid

Bidding is simple:
Open the auction listing you’re interested in
Enter your bid – it must be higher than the current bid
Click Place Bid to submit
💡 Tip: Bid realistically based on the product’s value for a better chance of winning.

🤖 2. Auto-Bidding

Let the system bid for you — and save time.
What is Auto-Bidding?
Auto-Bidding automatically raises your bid to stay ahead, up to your personal max.
How to set it up:
Click Set Auto-Bid on the listing
Enter your maximum bid (the highest you're willing to pay)
The system will outbid others by the minimum increment until your max is reached
🔒 Your maximum is kept confidential — only you can see it.

📌 3. Key Rules to Remember

🥇 Winning: You win only if your bid meets or exceeds the seller’s target price
If not met, the seller has 48h to accept or reject
🚫 No takebacks: Bids can’t be withdrawn once placed
👥 Multiple bidders: Others can also bid or set Auto-Bids — stay alert!

🔔 4. Notifications You’ll Receive

If you’re outbid – so you can react
When the auction ends – including win/loss result

✅ 5. After the Auction Ends

If you’re the winning bidder:
You’ll get an email with seller contact info
You arrange payment and shipping directly
See full post-sale steps →
If your bid didn’t meet the target price:
The seller has 48h to decide whether to accept or decline
If no response, the auction is marked f*ailed**
